Payment Terms & Refund Policy

1. PAYMENT PROCESSING

  • All payments processed through Stripe
  • We accept major credit cards and payment methods
  • Payments are non-refundable except as stated below
  • All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated
  • Payment authorization does not guarantee service activation

2. BILLING CYCLES

  • Monthly Plans: Billed on the same day each month
  • Annual Plans: 2 months free (10-month charge for 12 months)
  • Billing Date: Charged on the same day you subscribe
  • Invoice: Sent to your email within 24 hours of charge
  • Failed Payments: 3 retry attempts over 5 days

3. AUTO-RENEWAL DISCLOSURE (ROSCA Compliance)

  • Paid subscriptions automatically renew each billing cycle
  • Charges appear on your payment method statement
  • Renewal charges use your saved payment method
  • You will receive reminder emails 7 days before renewal
  • You acknowledge and accept auto-renewal terms by subscribing

4. REFUND POLICY - NO REFUNDS

All payments are non-refundable.

This applies to all subscription levels, one-time purchases, and account credits. No exceptions except as required by law.

5. EXCEPTIONS TO NO-REFUND POLICY

The following are eligible for refunds:

  • Duplicate Charge: Accidental duplicate billing (within 30 days)
  • Unauthorized Payment: Fraudulent charge (within 60 days)
  • Service Unavailable: Service down > 48 hours in billing period (pro-rata refund)
  • Dead on Arrival: Account created, never used (within 7 days)
  • Legal Requirement: If required by applicable law (CCPA, GDPR)

6. REFUND REQUEST PROCESS

  1. Submit refund request to billing@ahlan.app within 7 days of charge
  2. Include transaction ID, reason for refund, and any supporting evidence
  3. Ahlan reviews request within 5-7 business days
  4. If approved, refund processed to original payment method
  5. Refunds appear in 3-5 business days depending on your bank
  6. Denial notification includes reason and appeal instructions

7. PRICE CHANGES

  • Ahlan may change pricing with 30 days notice
  • Existing subscriptions honor current price until renewal
  • New price applies at next billing cycle
  • You may cancel before renewal if unhappy with new price

8. TAXES

  • Prices exclude applicable taxes
  • Sales tax, VAT, GST added based on your location
  • Tax calculated at checkout
  • Tax rate changes applied at next billing cycle

9. CANCELLATION

  • Cancel anytime from account settings
  • Cancellation effective immediately
  • No refund for unused portion of current billing period
  • Access continues until period end
  • Confirmation email sent immediately

10. FAILED PAYMENTS

  • Payment failure: Account suspended after 3 failed attempts
  • Retry attempts: Days 1, 3, 5 after initial failure
  • Notification: Email sent after each failed attempt
  • Reactivation: Update payment method to restore access
  • Removal: Account deleted 30 days after suspension if not resolved

11. PRORATED REFUNDS

In rare cases where a pro-rata refund is issued (e.g., service outage), the calculation is: (Days Unavailable ÷ Total Days in Billing Cycle) × Amount Paid

12. BILLING DISPUTES

  • Report within 60 days of charge
  • Contact billing@ahlan.app with transaction details
  • Investigation completed within 10 business days
  • If dispute valid, refund issued or credit applied
  • Repeat disputes may result in account termination
