Subscription Agreement

1. SUBSCRIPTION TERMS

By subscribing to Ahlan Premium or any paid tier, you agree to the following:

  • You have read and accepted the Terms of Service and this Agreement
  • You are 18 years or older or have parental consent
  • You will pay all charges in full
  • Your payment information is accurate and complete
  • You will keep payment information current

2. SUBSCRIPTION TIERS

Premium - $9.99/month

  • Unlimited translations
  • HD video calls
  • Advanced analytics
  • Ad-free experience

Professional - $24.99/month

  • All Premium features
  • AI Meeting Prep
  • Priority support
  • Team collaboration (up to 5 users)

Enterprise - Custom

  • All features
  • Dedicated support
  • Unlimited team members
  • SLA guarantee

3. AUTOMATIC RENEWAL

Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period:

  • Monthly plans renew 30 days from start date
  • Annual plans renew 365 days from start date
  • Charge applied to your saved payment method
  • Same subscription level and price (unless price changed)
  • You will receive renewal reminder 7 days before charge

4. CANCELLATION & TERMINATION

  • Cancel Anytime: From account settings or email billing@ahlan.app
  • Effective Date: Cancellation effective at end of current billing period
  • Access Continues: You retain access until period ends
  • No Refund: Partial month not refunded
  • Confirmation: Immediate email confirmation sent
  • Reactivation: Can resubscribe anytime

5. TERMINATION BY AHLAN

Ahlan may terminate your subscription for:

  • Violation of Acceptable Use Policy
  • Non-payment after 3 retry attempts
  • Account security breach or suspicious activity
  • Fraud or illegal use
  • Violation of Terms of Service
  • Business discontinuation or acquisition

6. FREE TRIAL

  • Some subscriptions include a free trial period (7-14 days)
  • Trial automatically converts to paid subscription unless canceled
  • Cancellation must occur before trial ends to avoid charges
  • Only one free trial per user/account
  • Refunds not issued for partial trial usage

7. PROMOTIONAL PRICING

  • Discounts and promotions valid for specified periods only
  • Promotional price does not apply to renewals unless explicitly stated
  • Standard pricing applies after promotional period ends
  • One promotion per account unless stated otherwise
  • Ahlan may revoke promotion for abuse

8. PAYMENT METHODS

  • Update payment method in account settings
  • Failed payment attempts: 3 retries over 5 days
  • Suspension after 3 failed attempts
  • Update payment to restore access
  • Account deleted 30 days after suspension if unresolved

9. BILLING CHANGES

  • Upgrade/Downgrade available anytime in account settings
  • Upgrade: New price effective immediately, pro-rated charge
  • Downgrade: New price effective at next billing cycle
  • Credit applied if downgrading mid-cycle

10. FEATURES & SERVICE CHANGES

  • Ahlan may add, remove, or modify features
  • Material changes to subscription tier warranted by notification
  • Right to cancel if unhappy with changes
  • Discontinued features result in pro-rata refund (rare)

11. SERVICE LEVEL

  • Ahlan aims for 99.5% uptime but does not guarantee it
  • Planned maintenance may cause temporary unavailability
  • Service interruptions > 48 hours result in pro-rata refund
  • Email notification given for major maintenance

12. DATA & ACCOUNT

  • Subscription data encrypted and backed up daily
  • Upon cancellation, data retained 30 days then deleted
  • Download data before cancellation if needed
  • Reactivation within 30 days restores access to data
